Building the future
Systems that scale. Products that last. Ideas that work.
Innovation Lab in Real Time
Designing systems that perform in the real world.
A personal innovation laboratory focused on software engineering, 3D printing, product building, and technology exploration.
Explore projectsSelected work.
Projects spanning software systems and physical products. Each one solves a real problem.
Email-to-Structured-Data Automation
Built a lightweight automation system integrating email parsing and structured data processing for operational efficiency. Handles rule-based routing with configurable triggers.
Custom Elevated Dog Feeder
Designed and prototyped an ergonomic elevated feeder focused on posture, durability, and modular customization. Iterated through multiple versions to optimize print orientation and structural integrity.
Engineering Functional Products
Focused on functional design, iterative prototyping, and material testing. Every part produced at Adonis Labs is engineered for real-world usage — not display cases. The goal is durable, well-tested products that solve actual problems.
FDM Manufacturing
Multi-material printing with PLA, PETG, ASA, and TPU. Tuned profiles for strength, surface finish, and dimensional accuracy.
Precision CAD
Parametric modeling with proper tolerances for snap-fits, press-fits, and mechanical assemblies. Every dimension is intentional.
Functional Prototyping
From concept to testable prototype in hours. Rapid iteration cycles to validate form, fit, and function before production.
Notes from the Lab
Technical documentation, engineering decisions, and reflections on building systems that work. Writing as a tool for thinking.
The Prompt Was Never the Problem
Friends and family kept asking me for AI tips. After enough conversations the pattern was obvious: almost nobody was stuck on prompting. They were stuck on describing what they actually wanted.
Read MoreDebugging a Proxmox RCU Stall: The Cause Was Not the NIC
The server went unreachable every few hours and needed a physical reboot. I had just replaced the network card, so obviously that was the culprit. It wasn't.
Read MoreWhy Build a Homelab in 2026
The cloud gives you scale. A homelab gives you the courage to destroy and rebuild without fear of a surprise bill — and that difference changes how you learn.
Read MoreMulti-Tenancy in B2B SaaS: Trade-offs and the Model I Chose
Multi-tenancy is the most irreversible architectural decision in a B2B SaaS — and most teams make it implicitly, mid-sprint, the moment they realize they need to isolate customer data.
Read MoreChoosing Rails for a Compliance Product
One developer, eighteen weeks, a B2B compliance product. The wrong stack decision can double the effort without you noticing until week twelve.
Read MoreWhy I Write ADRs Before Writing Code
Code captures what you built. An ADR captures why you built it that way — and the why is the first thing to disappear as a project ages.
Read MoreI build systems — digital and physical.
From software architecture to 3D printed products, I approach every problem as a systems engineer focused on performance, clarity, and real-world execution.
Adonis Labs is my independent laboratory — a space to design, prototype, test, and refine ideas until they work beyond theory.
